Brag Themes recently released a responsive WordPress theme that is perfect for small businesses called Simple Leads. We do a lot of freelance work and always keep an eye out for business WordPress themes. If you do a simple search for 'business WordPress themes' you will find hundreds, even thousands of themes in this niche.
The problem we found with these themes is they are not setup to capture new leads for the business owner. This is why we decided to create Simple Leads. While doing freelance web development work for local business owners we found that business owners don't understand the process of turning a website visitors into a lead. Many people think that just having a website will bring more leads for their business. This is not the case with a poorly optimized website that doesn't focus on capturing the visitors information.
A lot of the WordPress business themes you find on the web use a slider or some other kind of image gallery in the main area above the fold. We have done a lot of landing page optimization and found this area to be a great space to capture the visitors attention and gather contact information. The main content area of the homepage also offers a section to display services and other content for the visitor to get comfortable with the business.
